Thank you for supporting Keepsake Custom Tattoo. We love that our gift cards help you treat someone special (or treat yourself), and we want the process to be simple and stress-free.
All gift card purchases are final and non-refundable.
This includes full-price gift cards as well as
promotional gift cards, such as our “Double Your Money” offers.
Full price regular gift cards may be transferred to another individual; however,
transfers are permitted only under specific conditions. The original purchaser
or the individual whose name the gift card is registered under in our POS system
must authorize the transfer directly with the shop.
To complete a transfer, the physical gift card must be present, and we must be able
to communicate with the original purchaser to confirm authorization.
Transfers cannot be completed without verification.
Under Massachusetts law, gift certificates and gift cards must be valid for at least seven years from the date of issuance. We honor this standard for all full-price gift cards and for promotional gift cards, including our Black Friday “Double Your Money” offers, unless the original written terms provide otherwise in a way that is consistent with Massachusetts requirements.
We strongly encourage you to redeem gift cards well before the expiration date. Using them sooner helps you avoid last-minute surprises, and it makes scheduling and planning your visit much easier.
Your gift card details are tied to the original documentation from purchase. For electronic gift cards, the date of issuance and expiration information may be provided on the sales receipt, through the original email link you received at purchase, or through other written purchase records. For in-studio purchases, the paper agreement you signed at pickup contains the terms for both regular full-price gift cards and promotional Black Friday gift cards.
If you are unsure which version applies to you, please refer to your original email link first, then check any printed paperwork you received at pickup. Those documents are the best source for your exact issue date, expiration date, and any promotion-specific terms.
Full-price gift cards may be redeemed toward any services offered at Keepsake Custom Tattoo and Body Piercing, subject to the terms in effect at the time of purchase. If a gift card was purchased under a different name, the original purchaser—or the name under which the gift card is registered in our POS system—must contact the shop to authorize any transfer. For questions regarding your remaining balance or how to apply a gift card when booking an appointment, please contact the shop and we will be happy to assist you.
Black Friday promotional cards are also valid for seven years from the date of issuance, but these can only be used towards tattooing. The promo details are governed by the written terms provided at purchase. Because promos can include specific conditions, we always recommend reviewing your original email link or the paper contract you signed at pickup so there is no confusion about how the promotional value is applied. For example, double your money, black Friday promotional gift cards were sold under the agreement that they are non-transferable and nonrefundable. This was agreed verbally and/or by written contract at pick up. This rule was created due to people selling their gift cards on the open market for more than they paid.
If you cannot locate your original email link or paperwork, or you are unsure which terms apply, please call the shop and we will do our best to help you track down the information you need. For the fastest help, have the purchaser’s name, approximate purchase date, and any receipt or email confirmation available.
